Debra Clark

Debra Clark, PT, DPT graduated from Oklahoma University School of Physical Therapy(PT) in May 1979. She has had experience in many practice settings, including outpatient, inpatient, home healthcare, fitness facility and school system; addressing acute, sub-acute and chronic issues. She received her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation in 1994 and a doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. She has taught education and continuing education programs for physical therapy. She has been a clinical instructor for students from local and surrounding state university PT programs and has been actively involved in state, national and international PT organizations. She has also served as a personal guidance mentor with a local ministry for over 10 years, allowing her to uniquely address the whole person; body, soul and spirit.

She began specializing in Women’s Health issues in 1988. Women’s Health issues include diagnoses such as, pelvic pain, incontinence, interstitial cystitis, vulvodynia, dyspareunia, pudendal neuralgia, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.  After dealing with incontinence problems for several years, men starting requesting help for these issues after prostate cancer surgery. Through the years, chronic prostatitis and pelvic pain issues for men has been included to the list of specialization. Orthopedic issues are also addressed for hip, knee, ankle, shoulder and spine.

Kathy Bonar

Kathy Bonar, PT, graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Physical Therapy in May, 1987. She has worked in many different clinical settings, including: inpatient, outpatient, rehab, school system, home health and skilled nursing facilities. Within these setting she has gained valuable experience in orthopedics, neurological diagnoses, wound care and the treatment of the spine

Kirsten Floyd

Kirsten Floyd joined FPT June 25th of 2018. She was raised in Edmond, went to Deer Creek Schools and was a member of the pom squad. After graduating high school, she went to Oklahoma State University and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 2012.

She worked at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory during the entirety of her college career. Kirsten graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2016. She completed her pelvic floor physical therapy training through Herman & Wallace in Atlanta, Baltimore and Los Angeles.

She currently works as a pelvic floor physical therapist at Fundamental Physical Therapy. She treats men, women and children with pelvic floor dysfunctions, including: incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation and postpartum.

Ella Moore

Ella (Voss) Moore, PT, DPT, joined FPT June 18, 2018. Ella earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2018 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She was raised in Edmond, Oklahoma and is a proud Edmond North alumna.

During high school she was a member of the women's cross country, basketball and track teams. Throughout this time Ella developed a passion for physical activity and wellness, leading her to pursue a career in physical therapy.

After high school she attended Oklahoma State University and received a bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has enjoyed volunteering at the OKC Memorial Marathon and Endeavor Games.

She treats men, women, and children with pelvic floor dysfunctions, as well as patients with orthopedic conditions. She is pursing her pelvic floor training through the American Physical Therapy Association, and will be a certified provider of Trigger Point Dry Needling in May 2019.

We are excited Ella has joined the staff at Fundamental Physical Therapy.

Mikayla Tomasi

Mikayla Tomasi, PTA, joined FPT on November 2, 2017. In May 2017, she graduated from Murray State College in Tishomingo with her Associate of Applied Science to practice as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She is originally from McAlester, Ok, where she graduated from Lakewood Christian School. She has been an Edmond resident since October 2017.

She assists with treating those with orthopedic conditions as well as patients with pelvic floor dysfunctions. Mikayla has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2016.

Jamie Ruiz

Our receptionist, Jamie Ruiz, was a business owner for 23 years before joining our staff. After working some time as a licensed health insurance agent, she felt an urging to work in the medical field. Of her various skills acquired over the years, Jamie feels that providing excellent customer service has been her most valuable asset. She also believes that first impressions are of utmost importance and she enjoys being the first welcoming smile the patent sees when they walk through our door.

Loren and Debra Clark are owners of the clinic. Loren has personally experienced Physical Therapy care and is one of our greatest advocates and supporters. He has been responsible for computer operation and office equipment design, set-up and function.
